# PlantUML入门

## PlantUML是什么

PlantUml是一个支持快速绘制的开源项目。其定义了一套完整的语言用于实现UML关系图的描述。类似于markdown，通过编辑文本就可以自动生成UML图。

> UML：Unified Modeling Language 统一建模语言，又称标准建模语言。是用来对软件密集系统进行可视化建模的一种语言。UML的定义包括UML语义和UML表示法两个元素。目前UML2.0定义了13种图形。 结构图7种：类图、概要图、对象图、包图、部署图、复合结构图、组件图； 行为图6种：用例图、序列图、活动图、通信图、交互概览图、时序图；

## PlantUML特点

1. 跨平台、跨语言，只需要编辑文本就可以生成UML图。
2. 插件十分广泛，包括谷歌浏览器、idea、eclipse、sublime都有对应的插件。
3. PlantUml可以导出图片，也可以导出SVG格式的矢量图。
